Okay, here it is, what you've been waiting to figure out all this time.....

Dedicated to Tammy Da Whammy (second from left)

Often it is in those peak moments of life challenging circumstance that the window of higher perception opens for a brief moment.  Such times are perhaps the loss of something important to you, loss of a loved one.... A bit of a paradox.

So it was for me today, when dear Tammy left us for that Great Dog Biscuit in the Sky, and joined her friends Willow (first on left), and Tippy, and Voncie, and Homer (not shown).

Erfie and Chloe (the big guy, and the little girl on right) are sticking around to make sure I keep proper sanity and perspective while I continue my enrollment on Earth.

Anyway, so as Tammy moved from this dimension to the next-- I pondered the BIG question?

Why are we here? What is the purpose and meaning of LIFE?

I mean, its just SO STUPID, isn't it?  We are born, we live/suffer/enjoy, then we die (and this is usually not such a fun experience).

What is the POINT? It doesn't make a lot of sense by itself? After all, if you were God, and  you created the whole universe, including all the people and creatures in it---- why make yourself MISERABLE?

And, if you think that the universe is simply just a random series of events without purpose-- well then, you've already made up your mind, so don't bother reading this.

However, if you are slightly more optimistic---  here's what I came up with today...

1) By "life" we tend to mean this physical Earthly experience--- birth, life, death, in flesh and blood, constrained by the limitations of change on body, and the limitations of our perception within the bounds of the five senses.

2) Most of the time we are limited to seeing one thing at a time- as opposed to "Cosmic Consciousness" where we see all, know all, can be anywhere at any time.

3) This is our general limited "life experience" as most of us know it, most of the time- so.......

4) Why? Life is hard.

5) Think of WEIGHT TRAINING.  To get stronger and build muscles, what do you do?

You make things harder. You add resistance. You set limitations and restraints on yourself, and work with these restraints.

By doing this, you increase your capacity, your endurance, and your strength. And you feel much better after working out.

6) By limiting ourselves to 5 senses, living within the confines of a narrow timeline-- tick tock tick tock-- as opposed to experiencing the INFINITE and ETERNAL all the time--  it is like working out with a barbell set. It slows you down, it makes things harder, it makes you notice things you wouldn't notice.

It is like life itself, with all its problems and limitations... this ridiculous and often difficult life on earth is THE Resistance for the soul.

It makes you a better, stronger, wiser SOUL, and BEING.

7) You do this by choice (apparently before birth) just like you choose to work out or not at the gym. After all, you could be satisfied with where you are-- but from what I know as an ARTIST-  the real art is in CHANGE, in becoming better- irregardless of what level you are at.

So, as a soul, there is no such thing as "perfect".

You can always improve by challenging yourself, by sharpening yourself, by working on yourself- or merely by evolving by learning to do something NEW that you CAN'T DO YET.

Ah hah!    This is sounding a lot like LIFE ON EARTH.

8) What is THE LESSON to be learned in this "life on earth"?

There is not ONE lesson for everyone, just like there is no one reason for everyone to work out, or one instrument that everyone plays. For each person/being/soul (YOU) it is different. It may also be a combination or number of things.

So the real question is, WHAT IS YOUR LESSON, what is your purpose in this earthly incarnation?

9) Easy....

Look at what is making life DIFFICULT for you.

That is your RESISTANCE, your weight.

When you figure out what problem keeps popping up, what you have not figured out yet--then you will know at least one of the lessons/purposes of your life.

It's your puzzle, your game, your workout challenge.

10) What happens after we die?

This is still speculation on my part, but this is what I am feeling today and I would say I am, oh..... 75% or more certain of this:

It is very much like life on earth-- but without the resistance, the crap, the weight--- it is "light life".

In fact---  this LIGHT LIFE exists ALL OF THE TIME, in parallel with our present experience.

It is life-mind without the limitations of the physical universe--- it is WHAT YOU CAN IMAGINE with your infinite frontal lobes mind.

And it exists RIGHT NOW, forever.

The reason you don't perceive it as REAL is because you are busy playing out your physical incarnation, and all its limitations--  you signed up for THE FULL COURSE, like boot camp, like college-- and you don't fully get out until your enrollment is done.

You can however, take a break, close your eyes (or sleep), and VISIT through the WINDOW of your truly limitless frontal lobes brain/mind and see, talk to all your dead relatives who are DONE with the course and are having a picnic without you. You can fly, play perfect music, be the perfect ballerina, artist, just sit and watch the cosmic sunset every night--- and you don't have to work or pay rent. It's heavenly.

Then you come  back, until you are finished working out at the gym. Back to Earth for 20, 30, or 60 more years.

After you graduate, you may sign up later for a refresher course, or for another degree, or for another workout.

Its up to you.

Of course, if you are a dog, you have already got it all figured out, and your job on earth is to teach the meaning of life to humans, who are not as evolved.
