Denver WESTWORD
Brain Article

The following new article appeared in the July 1 Westword Newspaper in Denver, Colorado. Robin Chotzinoff (the writer) did a really nice job with a her good nature, humor, and mostly correct reporting. She got most of the neurology right, with a couple of small errors - if you know this site, you'll spot the mistakes, nothing major.

However, I would dispute her downplaying of the video made last week. You'll get a chance to view it here on the website this weekend. I demonstrate specific cloud vaporization leaving surrounding clouds virtually untouched, including making a big hole in the middle of a relatively thick bank of cloud cover (wind doesn't do that, sorry Robin!), and making clouds appear as directed in 15 seconds. Totally convincing- if I do say so myself! But, skeptics will be skeptics no matter what, eh? You have to understand that many people have an immediate resistance to this kind of thing- it is too much to handle- think of what it means when you realize that you indeed have hidden talents within your own brain?! "You mean life isn't what I've been told, what I've thought all my life?!? I've missed something?!?"

PS FOLLOW UP ON GEORGE GREEN (in article)- I received this email today:

Dear Mr. Slade, It was by an amazing set of synronicities that I was led to the article in Westword. No doubt you have read Castaneda's books; in one of the early books he mentions the "cubic centimeter of chance". That unique circumstance that places "Power", in one's path. Such was my introduction to George Green and Mary Oakey. The third (and last) time I saw George was after a profound and transcendent experience at his house. I left his house seeing George as a sixteen or seventeen year old kid. To this day I have the two images of him, as the old man I met on his bike in Wash. Park, and the young kid I last remember. It was shortly after this that he moved up to Roundup Montana. This, as you may know, was his last physical residence on earth.
Sincerely Nancy K.
