FURTHER UFO DENVER UPDATES March 17, 2002:

The UFO which I witnessed outline below, has been sighted over the same area of Denver sky by a number of other credible witnesses on several occassions. These sightings date from September 11, 2001 through to March 12, 2002, as well as one sighting the previous summer. although it is likely that this object has been seen by a greater number of people on other occassions, these reports are just a few recounted to me personally.

Sighting
#1) The first sighting is reported by Donny Scott (age 48) and Broz Rowland (50) of Denver, from East Central Denver from over a year ago while they were working in the yard of a Denver resident. They spotted the "day star", a bright silver/white absolutely motionless object in the sky, above East Denver. They watched it for five to ten minutes, after which point it shot off and dissappeared suddenly.

#2) A week after George Zeiler's January radio interview on Art Bell Coast to Coast, an M.D. resident of Aurora, CO called to report his sighting of this object on September 11, 2001 around 5 PM.

The account goes as follows: "I was outside my house near Buckley Air Force Base in East Denver (Aurora), and saw three objects hovering motionless high above the base. One was a silver sphere, the other were two triangular shaped objects, all which I could see shape and structure as I used my binoculors to get a better look. I watched them for a while then called the base and talked to the Operations System Manager to report and ask what these were. He told me to call back the next day. About 15 minutes later, I saw two fighter planes circle the sky above the base, at which point the three objects appeared to go higher inthe sky out of the reach of these jets. Soon the jets left the area, and then the three objects decended back down to their original position. After a while, a bigger AWAC plane came into the area and used a spotlight to try and light up these objects, at which point the three objects went back up, again apparently out of reach. When this plane left, the three objects came back down to their original position. I watched this entire episode over a period of about ninety minutes.

The next day I called and talked to the same official at the air force base, who told me he could not give me any further information on these objects, except that the information was classified.

#3) I spotted the object on December 17, 2001, as reported and shown in the photos below.

#4) In January, a construction worker near Buckley Air Force base and his boss watched a silver spherical object remain motionless above the base for approximately 15 minutes. After a short amount of time the object suddenly and inexplicably moved about 20 degrees arc nearly instantaneously and impossibly to another position. It repeated this motion again, then suddenly took off out of sight going high up into the atmosphere.

#5) Donny Scott again observed the same appearing object, in the same portion of Denver sky from another location in February of 2002 while on his lunch break outside his place of business at Florida and Colorado Blvd in Denver, about two miles south of his first sighting. The object again appeared completely motionless, as a bright "day star". He watched it for a period of time before returning back inside to work. The object did not move at all during this time.

#6) Sandra, a coffee shop manager and her friend in East Denver observed a similar "day star" over City Park at twiligh during February after reading the accounts and looking at the pictures on this web page. Upon interview she reports that they watched this object absolutely motionless in the sky for about five minutes, and then it suddenly vanished. she had no explanation as it did not appear to be a manmade light from a helicopter, plane, or any other object. It was obviously not a star, as they saw it before nightfall, and that it further inexplicably dissapeared.

#7) Two employess and two customers of Great Cuts Hair Salon in Cherry Creek were in back of the shop when they suddenly saw a very brightly lit with white, green, and red lights fly over the shop about 7 PM on March 1. The object was triangular, and made absolutely no sound, as well as having lights that did not appear to be conventional airplane lights. They ran through the shop and back out through the front door to follow the craft on the opposite side of the building. They were not able to identify what they had seen, and were extremely startled by the event.

#8) March 10, 2002, while leaving the Cherry Creek Post office in East Denver, I saw a bright silver/while dot in the same portion of sky (in the direction of Buckley) slowly move across the sky. I immediately focused my attention on this object, at which point it instantly and impossibly shifted movement 180 degrees in the opposite direction (impossible for any man-made object)and quickly accelerated and dissapeared from view. This was a very brief occurance, and lasted only a few seconds, too quick to get my camera focussed on the object.

December 17, 2001

Just before Stan left for Pennsylvania a couple of weeks ago (early December) for personal business he told me of another sighting he had of the same stereotypical disc shaped "flying saucer" type craft, of which he previously saw for several days driving to and from Pennsylvania on Interstate 85 last August. He saw this craft again, but either closer up, or as he thought- a much bigger version of the same type- again within metropolitan Denver. Unfortunately, he said it was a very quick sighting and by the time he prepared his camera, the object had gone, thus no pictures.

When he returned he informed me of the ongoing MUFON investigation of his sightings, and that remarkably, the international director of this group personally had a sighting of the flashing red orb type craft shortly after meeting with Stan.

Stan remarked to me that it was his feeling that anyone just taking the time to regularly keep their eyes on the sky would see unexplainable objects and the "they are all over the place, its just that no one is really paying attention, or ignore or dismiss them when they do see them."

So, since the beginning of October, I have gone almost nowhere without a camera in my pocket or car, and I am constantly checking the sky for things. On a couple of occassions I have spotted something that did not look like a plane, or dissappeared while I was watching it. Usually, it happened so fast or so far away that I did not have the opportunity to catch it with my camera.

This changed yesterday at 3:10 PM, on December 17, 2001, about a mile from my house inside Denver city limits.

I got my dogs and put them in the car to take them for their regular walk a few miles away at Fairmount Cemetary, a quiet big park like area. Driving southbound on Harrison Street--- STRANGLY ENOUGH where about a year ago I had a dream of seeing a UFO (damn, I just remembered this!)- I spotted a shiny object in my front field of vision. I slowed down, stuck my head out the window, and it just vanished. I thought it might just be a common sun reflection off of a plane. However, it now occurs to me that the sun reflection would have to be on the OTHER side of the plane, as I was north of the object.

I kept looking up in the sky casually, though slightly alerted. I then got in the turn lane of Colorado Blvd, waiting for traffic to clear to make a left turn eastbound. I then spotted either another object or the same object high in the eastern part of the sky. It was a VERY bright dot- just hanging in one spot, and rock solid, not moving at all.

I made my turn, and immediately parked the car on 6th Ave. (Street position below, note street lamps.)

I got out of the car, and looked up to see a bright object, again totally immovable in the sky, about 60 degrees up from the horizon. Imagine how bright this object must have been to catch my attention from inside my car, waiting to make a turn, in broad daylight. I had one small Fuji Finepix 2.1 (4 MP extension) megapixel digital camera in the car which I used to take about 10 pictures, the best of which are below. This camera has only a 3X zoom lens-- IT FIGURES! This day I did not have my high power digital zoom video camera with me (never again!!)

Never the less, you can clearly see the object between the light and the curve of the lower tree branch.

Upon enlarging, the object appears to be a light colored or metallic sphere, with light reflecting off of the upper right hand side- facing the position of the sun in the sky perfectly as it should from the proper angle. This NOT an out-of-focus picture of the moon or anything else for that matter, note the well defined edges of the tree branch highly magnified in the enlargement. If I was going to fake something, I could have done a much better job than this!

I watched the completely stationary object for about 15 minutes, up and down the street, even driving around the block , and confirmed its presence by talking with about six other people waiting for the bus (they had not seen it until I pointed it out, then confirmed it was there).

I then decided to quickly drive home and get my telescope and more powerful cameras with stronger lenses. From my home a mile away, the object was not visible. When I returned to the exact same spot about 10-15 minutes later the object could no longer be seen.

I returned home and checked my computer sky chart program to see if there were any planets or bright stars in that part of the sky- and there was nothing at all. The brightest star above the horizon was Vega, and at 3 PM, it was completely invisible, as well as not being in the same part of the sky where I had seen this object.

I considered that it could be a mylar birthday or maybe another balloon reflecting sunlight, but given the amount of time that I watched it, its' apparent size at a distance and brightness (I could judge it was very high up from my perspective as I moved down the street, and that it did not budge any perceptible amount whatsoever during this time not even a fraction of a fraction of movement. A balloon in the atmosphere would move up or to the side even in the most still of days at such altitude- and this object was absolutely rigid in one location, as a star would be (and I ruled out any possibility of celestial object with my investigation).

I thought that maybe it could be a stationary satellite reflecting the sun, and so I would return on the next day and see if it was again visible. I returned again to the exact same spot at the exact same time the following day with the same weather and carefully scanned the same part of the sky, but absolutely nothing could be seen, ruling out a stationary satellite. See the photo below, taken at exactly the same position and time as the previous day, and compare with the photo above from the same spot that clearly shows the object. Later, it was further explained to me that the stationary satellites must be located directly above the equator in order to stay stationary- which this object was clearly, in the easter part of the sky, no where near the equator- besides appearing considerably closer than at orbital altitude.

An observing UFO watching the metropolitan activity, unoticed by most city dwellers far below?

A plasma ball of unknown origin and material? A time machine taking pictures of Denver, 2001? An occupied alien tourist sightseeing expedition?

The points being:
#1 There are things out there, nearby, even in the city, that are mysterious and unexplainable.
#2 When you click your amygdala forward and turn on your frontal lobes observation skills your brain will show you incredible things.
#3 Teach yourself and your friends how to click the amygdala forward and share in seeing all kinds of things most people are missing.
