Starting in the late 1950's, Lingo further developed his methods of brain and behavior modification starting where his teachers and the other researchers left off. One has to realize that all the work at the lab was EMPIRICAL research. No sense in repeating what was already done. Lingo would say "We stand on the shoulders of all the researchers before us, like the top of a pyramid." Scientist and researcher one after another builds upon the findings of her/his predecessors. He added on to what his teachers and collegues knew, I added on to what he knew and taught me, and you'll develop your own ideas on top of all of these. Each one- teach one. Thus- the findings and methods that you read about at this web site and that you will eventually study in The Frontal Lobes Supercharge and other brain books started decades ago with brain and behavior researchers in labs and universities throughout the world. Lingo himself kept meticulous records and files of all subjects and students through his program, and eventually came to a unique and new understanding of fast and efficient ways of increasing intelligence, creativity, and pleasure.
