People always used to ask Lingo "How did you get all this land?" Well, you'll want to hear it from Lingo himself at the Dormant Brain Lab after you finish this tour. But for now I'll tell you....he had a standard answer: "I bought it all with an old guitar, three chords, and nine folk songs." You see, after Lingo went to four universities and did his academic work, he decided he needed his own lab to really learn the secrets of the human brain. But he had no money. He became a folk singer, and after a few years got a rather well-paying job hosting his own NBC TV show. Here's a publicity photo of Lingo back around 1955 as he was earning his money, singing simple folk songs- a new a popular fad back in those days.
